and fitness levels. These vary from the popular Fairy Falls
track where a swim in a rock pool can refresh on a warm day

ancient towering rain forests to gentle fern gullies and undulating

Train
Welcome Aboard the Rain Forest Express! This train in operation
since 1998 offers a close-quarters scenic experience of the
Waitakere Ranges in a 5 km long train ride through 10 tunnels
and 9 bridges including spectacular Quinns Viaduct. Get close
up to real glow worms and cave wetas.
After traveling through bush experience expansive views over
the Manukau Harbour, arriving at the Upper Nihotapu Dam, Aucklands
highest dam. |
